Unathi Nkayi accuses Somizi of betrayal and disloyalty, according to her recent appearance on the Uncancelled podcast with host Gareth Cliff.
The radio presenter had previously been silent on the reasons for the breakdown of their friendship, but now claims that Somizi chose sides during her divorce from Thomas Msengana.
She alleges that he is untrustworthy and picks sides, which caused problems for their friendship when she had to remain professional on the Idols SA judging panel.
Unathi expressed disappointment that Somizi chose to go on "boy's trips" with Thomas, but then spoke badly about her on the same reality show.
She feels that his actions showed that he had picked sides, even though other colleagues such as Gareth Cliff and Randall Abrahams did not. Unathi clarified that she does not hate Somizi, but they no longer have a relationship due to his disloyalty.>/p>
In addition to her issues with Somizi, Unathi is also suing Kaya FM for unfair dismissal.
